A day in the park

Grandma has been in town taking care of me for the past couple of months. We've had lots of good quality time together, and we went to the park to see thousands of tulips in bloom.

My 1st Passover

This week I celebrated my first passover and attended my first seder. I asked the four questions very well--Dad was definitely proud. During the second seder, I hung out with Uncle Mike...

...and had some great discussions with Grandpa later in the week:

Just hangin' with dad on a Saturday afternoon...

I'm six months old!

I turned six months old today, and to celebrate, I got half of a cake and blew out half of a candle. I also got my first taste of chocolate icing! My parents, however, couldn't stop with the icing. They made me try my first vegetable: peas. The Chef (aka Dad) made the peas for me. We ended the evening with a piano concert, courtesy of me

Australia!!!

These last two weeks have been filled with many firsts. I took my first plane ride all the way to Australia. I did really well on the long plane ride and didn't cry at all. In Australia, I went to Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Melbourne, Geelong, and all the way down south to the Great Ocean Drive along the Tazman Sea. I took my first dip into the ocean in the Tazman Sea, went hiking, saw my first bats (known as Flying Foxes) and kangaroos, and even went to my first opera at the Sydney Operahouse. (I made it through Act I of Carmen, but the applause scared me and I started crying right after, so my parents had to rush me out.) On the way back, we stopped in Sacramento to visit my Nana and Nani's house for the first time. They threw a huge party in my honor. Below are some pictures from our trip, and click here to see the rest...

Welcome home, Clark Masa

I met my Clark Masa for the first time today. We are all so happy that he is safely back from Iraq. I've heard so much about him and can't wait to get to know him better. Don't worry, this look of fear went away very soon...
