We left from Boston and saw my parents' friends Karin and Brett, and we met their new baby Annika. (She's a cutie!) We also saw Aparna and Shimul, and met seven-day old Nikhil. (My competition.)
Then it was off on our cruise: Bar Harbor, Maine; Nova Scotia; Prince Edward Island; Quebec City; and finally Montreal. Mommy gained a total of six pounds on the trip. Daddy was a finalist in the ship's blackjack tournament, but ended up losing anyway -- that's the first of my college education funds squandered.
Here's a picture of us at Bar Harbor. You can see our cruise ship in the distance on the left. Interestingly, Mommy and Daddy stayed at the hotel on the right a few years ago when they took a vacation to Acadia National Park.
